Mechanicsville Christmas Parade
HELP PLEASE!! We need more Corvettes for the Parade Sunday. December 2nd. Please call Bill at 804-677-2606 if you can help. See meeting plans below!
Participants should plan to arrive at 12:30 PM. We need 8 convertibles and a couple of backups. We can also accept coupes!
You will need to arrive at 12:30 PM at the Mechanicsville Elementary School. 7425 Mechanicsville Elementary Dr, Mechanicsville, VA 23111 . We are in division 6. The web site below says arrive by 1PM, but traffic gets very tight and I recommend you arrive no later than 12:30, earlier if possible;. Bring a folding chair as we will be sitting for a while. If it rains, or there is a definite forecast for rain,we are a NO GO. Watch your email Sunday morning for a NO GO notice, or call me, if whether is threatening (804-677-2606 is my cell number). Bring painters tape to attach signs for the young ladies to your car. Christmas decorations are also encouraged. Bring blankets for the young ladies to sit on and to cover their legs.
