Cruise to Hardware Hills Vineyard

CCR Members come join us for great cruise along scenic Route 6 where our travels will take us though central Virginia, passing through old railroad towns and historic Fork Union on our way to Hardware Hills Vineyard. HHV is nestled in the rolling piedmont along the Hardware River between Fork Union and Scottsville. Formerly known as Thistle Gate Vineyard, the new owners, Rob and Andrea Nickels have worked to make HHV a friendly and relaxing destination. They’ve also improved their wine selection and quality.
On our cruise date, live entertainment is scheduled at the vineyard. There is a limited selection of food items available at the vineyard but, if we have a large turnout, the owners will arrange for a food truck. Bringing your own food is also allowed.
We’ll rally at 10AM behind the McDonald’s at 11280 Patterson Ave. We will hold a drivers meeting at 10:15AM and plan to depart at 10:30AM for the 1 hour cruise to the Vineyard. Our trek will be entirely along Route 6 (West River Road) to 5199 W. River Road, Scottsville, VA 23590. The web address for HHV is www.hardwarehills.com
