    “Vettes at Waterside District”
    Non Sponsored Event:

    The Beachcombers Corvette Club and Rick Hendrick Chevrolet of Norfolk are proud to host Vettes at Waterside District 2022. Once again, Corvettes will line the Waterside District riverfront promenade on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Participation in this unique Corvette only gathering is limited to the first 150 pre-registered cars. Register today before it’s sold out. 


    Registration will include access to our private Friday evening “Meet & Greet” in the Riverwalk Room at the Sheraton Waterside Hotel including 2 free drink tickets and passed appetizers and the Saturday car show entry at Waterside District. Due to pedestrian traffic on the riverfront promenade and the adjacent Town Point Park, all cars must be parked by 10:00 am and remain in place until 4:00 pm. 


    To make it convenient for our guests, discounted hotel rates are offered at the Norfolk Sheraton Waterside, adjacent to Waterside District. Hotel reservations may be made by calling the hotel at 757-622-6664 and ask for the Beachcomber event room rate.

    The Sandston Community brings you the Sandston Celebration, Memorial Day 2022.

    Event Outline & Schedule:

    CCR participants need to arrive early at 11:00 pm to assemble for the parade which starts at 1:00 pm, May 30, 2022. We will meet at the East End Henrico Rescue Squad (5301 Huntsman Road, Henrico Virginia), which is the corner of Williamsburg Road (Rt 60) and Lewis Road. The Rescue Squad building is opposite Lewis Road from Burger King.   

    At 11:15am we will head to our staging area where we will be lined up. We will have a Unit Number assign for all CCR.  Please, all entries must display this assigned number on the right-hand corner of your windshield. Spray painted green is preferred on the windshield.  Please bring your CCR club flags and banners. Also bring your coolers and water. Also, we cannot throw anything, candy etc., from your car to the crowd.

    Event Schedule:

    11am the CCR Club Meet and Assemble:

     East End Henrico Rescue Squad (5301 Huntsman Road, Henrico Virginia), which is the corner of Williamsburg Road (Rt 60) and Lewis Road.

    1 pm – Sandston Parade 
    Starts on Williamsburg Road where it intersects with Beulah Road. Proceeds west and disbands at North Confederate Avenue.

    2-4 pm – Block Party
    Sandston Recreation Area on JB Finley Street

    Also, also plan to eat at a restaurant nearby. As we get closer to the date the restaurant information will be provided along with any changes or updates.

    Myrtle Beach Corvette Club

    Myrtle Beach Corvette Club (MBCC) invites you and your club members to the 25th Anniversary of Corvette at Myrtle Beach, June 3-4. This year, the car show profits will benefit Canine Angels and The Conway Quilt Guild charities. The MBCC has reserved rooms for at the Landmark Resort. The weekend’s event begin at 5:00 PM on Friday June 3rd at the Landmark Resort with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. The band starts at 6:00 and Dinner is at 7:00. Auction baskets, baskets of cheer and fun till 10:00!!!


    The car show will be June 4th at “Broadway at the Beach” from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Register on line for any or all of the events:

    MBCC hope many of your members will join us to celebrate this momentous event in our Club’s history. Please review the attached flyers for the event.


    CCR has a small group planning to cruise to the event on June 3rd. if you would like to join us please register on the CCR’s event website. Those that sign up will receive addition information as plans are finalized. If you choose to travel on your own we will see you there.  It should be a fun event.

    Mark your calendars and plan to attend on the revised date of June 4th. The CCR Board ask all members to attend and show our support and appreciation for their event and purchase Corvette specific products and see their new facilities

    Zip is encouraging CCR members to "come and go" throughout the day, and to also drive their Corvettes to the event. Non-Corvettes will be directed to an off-site lot for parking.
