    Richmond Raceway Cares Benefit

You can take your personal vehicle for a spin around Richmond Raceway! For just $20, you can take five laps around the historic 3/4-mile D-shape oval on Sunday, June 23 at noon. You will be able to see a unique view of the FanGrounds, and how it feels to take to the banks of America's Premier Short Track.

All proceeds benefit Richmond Raceway Cares, a donor advised fund of The NASCAR Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable entity, that donates racing-related items and offers financial support to assist community outreach programs and other nonprofit charities.

The imports include cars, vans, trucks, limos and ornate Japanese hearses rarely seen in the USA. Did I mention Japanese fire trucks?  For your preview, the following link will take you to the Duncan Import and Classic Cars website:

This is a self-guided tour but most of the cars have vehicle information on their windshields. Did I also mention nearly everything is for sale?  Mr. Duncan indicated that he would try to be present on part of the tour as he can provide a lot his personal information on many of the vehicles.

After you have seen all you want to see head over to the Quality Inn (50 Hampton Boulevard) and check in (It’s less than a mile away).  You will need to make your reservations by calling (520) 505-2289. Let them know you with the Corvette Club of Richmond to get the $79.00 + tax rate.

There is no cost for this event, however Mr. Duncan supports the Brittany McCann Project, Inc. Brittany has cerebral palsy. The remarkable part is that the money is not for her or her family. She runs a ministry that reaches out and takes care of children from underprivileged families and children with illnesses from her wheelchair and her connection on face book and social media.
